Refunds

Tuition and fees for regular length semester courses are refunded according to the following schedule. The registration fee ($12) is not refunded.

For Course Withdrawals, this is the refund schedule:

Minimester courses starting Mon., May 12:
Prior to Mon., May 12 - 100%
Mon., May 12 through Wed., May 14 - 70%
Thurs., May 15- 25%
After Thurs., May 15 - None

Summer courses starting Mon., June 2, ending July 8:
Prior to Mon., June 2 - 100%
Mon., June 2 through Fri., June 6 - 70%
Sat., June 7 through Sun., June 8 - 25%
After Sun., June 8 - None

Summer courses starting Mon., June 2, ending July 24:
Prior to Mon., June 2 - 100%
Mon., June 2 through Mon., June 9 - 70%
Tues., June 10 through Wed., June 11 - 25%
After Wed., June 11 - None

Summer courses starting Mon., June 2, ending August 17:
Prior to Mon., June 2 - 100%
Mon., June 2 through Fri., June 13 - 70%
Sat., June 14 through Mon., June 16 - 25%
After Mon., June 16 - None

Summer courses starting Thurs., July 10, ending August 17:
Prior to Thurs., July 10 - 100%
Thurs., July 10 through Mon., July 14 - 70%
Tues., July 15 through Wed., July 16 - 25%

Refunds for tuition are processed from Lone Star College System Office four to six weeks after the official day of record. Not all refunds are mailed; those paying with credit/debit cards have refunds credited back to the card account.
