Institutional Scholarship Opportunities

Here is a list of institutional scholarship opportunities available to many Lone Star College–Tomball students. Please take a moment to review the list and decide if you are qualified and want to apply.

Please note some applications can be downloaded while others must be obtained from the Admission's Counter.

It is your responsibility to meet all deadlines and submit all required paperwork to the designated addresses as per scholarship.

Pharmacy Technology Scholarship 2.0+ Enrolled in 6+ hours must be enrolled in Pharmacy Technology program
Tomball Developmental Math Scholarship 2.5+ Enrolled in 6+ hours including a Math course Must have earned an A in the last Lone Star College–Tomball Math course completed
Tomball Rotary Scholarship 2.0+ Enrolled in 6+ hours standard
Bill Stafford Memorial Scholarship 3.0+ Enrolled in 12+ hours Special consideration given those pursuing a career change and/or planning a career in Social Work, Counseling, or Teaching
Lone Star College–Tomball Alumni Association Scholarship standard
J. Anthony Walter, MD Scholarship Enrolled in 12+ hours Must be majoring in Engineering Technology
Hulon & Marion Madeley Scholarship 3.0+ Enrolled in 12+ hours Must be pursuing a teaching career in Life or Earth Sciences. Preferably, recipient will enroll in a Teacher Education program at SHSU.
Tomball Lions' Club Scholarship 3.0+ Enrolled in 12+ hours For handicapped students. There are 2 scholarships available: an Academic Scholarship and Career Technology Scholarship.
Lone Star College System Foundation Scholarship 2.5+ Enrolled in 6+ hours standard
Dr. Joe Airola Scholarship 2.5+ Enrolled in 6+ hours standard
Ann Glazier McStravick Scholarship For students pursuing an Associate Degree in Nursing at Lone Star College–Tomball
Kathleen Graham Semmier Scholarship For a nursing student chosen by the Nursing Department
Lone Star College–Tomball President's Endowment Scholarship 2.0+ Enrolled in 6+ hours standard
Foundation Gala Scholarship 2.5+ Enrolled in 6+ hours standard
Pearl L. Fincher Endowment Scholarship 2.5+ Enrolled in 6+ hours standard
Buchinger, Lamkin, Thompson Memorial Endowment 2.0+ Enrolled in 6+ hours Must be a graduate of Hauke Alt. School
Capital Campaign Fund Scholarship 2.5+ Enrolled in 6+ hours standard
