Training and Workshops
The PSC offers a variety of training opportunities and workshops and seminars. In addition, eCollege often offers workshops at Lone Star College–Tomball. The schedule of current activities can be found on the PSC Calendar.
Suggest a workshop
TimeOut! for Technology
TimeOut! for Technology workshops are offered at least twice a month and cover topics such as Colleague, Office productivity tools, email, web design, and multimedia.
TimeOut! for Teaching
TimeOut! for Teaching workshops are aimed at faculty and cover instructional topics such as distance learning, discussion in the classroom, civility, motivating students, technology integration, etc.
Specific workshop topics are drawn from Faculty Needs Assessment surveys conducted several times throughout the year and from discussion with faculty, chairs and deans.
Lunchables
Lunchables Workshops are brief, usually 1/2 hour, workshops that cover topics of interest to faculty and staff, including sessions for personal and position development. These may include focused technology or something just for fun.
