How to submit additional documents

If you received a Missing Information Letter, use the instructions below to respond. You must RESPOND IMMEDIATELY. No work can be completed on your application until you have done so.

If you need Lone Star College System Financial Aid Application:
  • Completing the FAFSA is the first step in the financial aid application process; you also need to complete the Lone Star College System financial aid application.
  • Print the document from the Forms Databank
  • Pay special attention to providing a declared major and anticipated graduation date
  • Complete and submit the application.

If you need a Verification Worksheet:
  • Print the document from the Forms Databank
  • Read the instructions very carefully and then complete Sections A,B, D, and E.
  • Complete Section C using the same information you submitted on your FAFSA worksheets a, b, and c.
  • All students must sign this form; parents' signature is required only for dependent students.

 


If you need to submit Tax Documents:

  • You must make photocopies of IRS Form 1040, 1040A, or 1040EZ.
  • At least one taxpayer referenced on the tax form must sign the photocopy even if prepared by a tax professional or online.

If you need Signature Page:
  • Print the document from the Forms Databank
  • Complete and submit.
  • The DRN number is located on your copy of your student aid report

If you need a Low Income Verification Worksheet :

 

  • Print the document from the Forms Databank
  • Carefully and accurately complete the form

If you need to submit your Birth Certificate, Marriage Certificate, Social Security Cart, or Proof of Citizenship:

  • Bring the original to the Financial Aid Office. We will make a photocopy for you to sign.

If you need Marital Separation Verification Form:
  • Print the document from the Forms Databank
  • Complete per instructions on form.

If you need Special Circumstances Form:
  • Print the document from the Forms Databank
  • Read and complete the form carefully.
  • PAY SPECIAL ATTENTION to Required Documentation and Changes in Income.

To submit the documents, bring them to the Lone Star College–Tomball Financial Aid office located in C-100.

If you have any questions, you may ask to see a financial aid advisor at that time. If not, simply leave the documents with front counter. Once your financial aid file is complete, processing may take up to 6 weeks.
