1. Appointments must be made at least 3 hours in advance and no more than one week in advance.
2. If you cannot make an appointment, call 832-559-4240 to cancel as soon as possible.
3. Appointments must be made in person at the Circulation/Reserve Desk in the library, L247 .
4. Students who miss two appointments will not be allowed to make any more appointments for the semester.
5. Appointments are for a maximum of 30 minutes.
6. Due to tutor demand, students may have only one appointment each week .
7. Students may still walk-in for English tutoring. The Circulation/Reserve Desk assistants maintain the tutoring wait list. Be aware that an appointment will go before a student who walks in.
8. Students should leave name and phone number when making an appointment in order to be notified should a tutor be absent.

NOTE : The ELC does its best to provide a substitute for tutors who are absent, but please be aware that an appointment may not guarantee a session with a tutor if the tutor is absent and no substitute can be found. The Center apologizes for the inconvenience this situation may cause a student.
