Scholarships

Established in October of 2003

The committee reviewed the criteria for the scholarships available at Lone Star College–Tomball and those given seniors at Tomball High School. After a group discussion these are the criteria we decided on for the TCAA Scholarship:

 

• The recipient will have completed at least 12 credit hours, but no more than 30 credit hours.
• A GPA of 2.5 or better
• Working toward an Associate Degree (Science or Art) at Lone Star College System.
• Involved with a community service project or student organization.
• The award will be at least $200
• The funds are for tuition, fees, and books.

The Scholarship Committee at Lone Star College–Tomball will select the recipient. If all the funds are not used the money will be held in donor account to be carried over to the next term or year.
